Jeanna Kaye Upchurch is a recent graduate from UNCG’s music program with a focus on piano performance. She has spent the last sixteen years of her life learning all kinds of piano repertoire and since high school has taken an interest in the ukulele. After falling in love with historical musicology, Jeanna has taken a more analytical approach to learning repertoire, wanting to learn not just the notes but the history behind them.
New to teaching, Jeanna is excited to pass her passion of not just music but the story behind it to a new generation of musicians.
