Wills Woodruff
Wills Woodruff is a dedicated musician and recent graduate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he obtained his Bachelor of Music degree. With a lifelong passion for music, Wills’ journey began at the age of 5 when he first touched the keys of a piano. His musical odyssey took flight when he joined his high school’s esteemed A Cappella group at R.J. Reynolds, where he discovered his love for singing and the intricacies of vocal harmony. At UNC, he became the music director of the oldest all-male A Cappella group, the Clefhangers where he further pursued his passion for creativity, innovation, and the relentless pursuit of musical excellence.
Wills’ musical journey is underscored by a diverse array of experiences and a comprehensive understanding of various musical genres. He has delved deeply into jazz, composition, and theoretical studies, honing his skills and expanding his musical horizons. His proficiency in music theory and arrangement reflects his commitment to mastery and artistic expression.
Beyond his personal musical pursuits, Wills is deeply passionate about music education and its transformative power. He firmly believes that music is a universal language that transcends boundaries and enriches lives. As an educator, he aspires to instill a love for music in students of all ages, guiding them on a journey of self-discovery and musical exploration. His approach is centered on fostering creativity, nurturing individual interests, and creating meaningful connections through music.
Wills teaches piano, voice, ukulele and drums.
