Isaac Viars

Isaac Viars is a West Virginia native who received his Bachelor’s of Music from West Virginia Wesleyan College and is currently enrolled at North Carolina Central University working toward a Masters in Jazz Studies. He has played with many notable musicians in the West Virginia and Pittsburgh areas including the Bachelor Boys wedding band and the Roger Humphries Big Band. He gained a love for teaching through working with kids of all ages in band camps and music programs and now brings that passion to Notasium teaching trombone, trumpet, ukulele, guitar, piano, and mandolin. He stated, “It’s not just about the lessons you learn in music, but the lessons that music can teach you about life.”
