Faith Lumban

Instructor Faith playing guitar

Faith began her music journey studying classical piano at The Music Academy of North Carolina in Greensboro at age 6. Over the course of her 11 years at MANC, she performed at various competitions, festivals, master classes, and was awarded multiple merit scholarships. Her love for music continued when she picked up the trombone, euphonium, guitar, mallet percussion, and ukulele in her middle/high school years. She took every opportunity to make music with others- participating in marching band, wind ensemble, jazz band, and indoor percussion. She started her college studies at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro where she completed a minor in music and privately studied euphonium, also participating in UNCG’s Symphonic Band and Tuba/Euphonium Ensemble. She later transferred to Guilford Technical Community College where she is currently pursuing a career in live sound and concert lighting. Faith is very passionate about the music industry and the importance of music education.

Outside of music, Faith also enjoys running, spending time outside with her buddies, and going to concerts!

Faith teaches piano, ukulele, guitar, trumpet, trombone, voice and voice/piano hybrid.
